Ammai Appar Driving School

You can find us at No: 227/180, right opposite the CRG School in Peelamedu. It’s a busy spot in Coimbatore, and we’ve been working from here for quite some time. The school across the street is a good landmark for people trying to find our door. Most of our days are spent in the training cars, going back and forth through the neighborhood streets. We see a lot of young people from the nearby colleges and families who live in the local area. Learning to drive is a big milestone for people, so we try to keep things grounded and simple. We aren't big on flashy advertisements or anything like that. We just focus on the practical side of things, like how to park in a tight space or how to handle a hill start. The office is a basic room where we keep our logs and help people with their application forms. It gets a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but you get used to it after a while. We have a couple of cars that we use every day, and they definitely show some wear and tear from all the gear grinding and sudden stops. That’s just the nature of this business. We are just local people helping other locals get their licenses so they can go about their lives. It’s regular, honest work that keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down. It's what we do.
