Sri Vinayaka Department Store

You can find us at number 290 - A on Perur Main Road. We are right there at the Telungupalayam Pirivu junction. It's a busy area in Coimbatore and we've been part of it for a long time. Sri Vinayaka Department Store is where we spend most of our day. We sell the usual household things, from cooking oil and grains to cleaning supplies. The store isn't massive, but we make good use of the space we have. Sometimes boxes are stacked a bit high in the corners because a new shipment just came in and we haven't put it all away yet. We don't have a big team of staff, just us and a few helpers making sure things get sold and the bags are packed. Customers come from all around Telungapalayam because we are easy to reach on the main road. The traffic can be quite loud outside with the buses passing, but inside it's just the sound of people picking out their groceries. We don't do any fancy advertising or send out flyers. We just open up the shop and wait for the regulars to stop by. Sometimes we don't have exactly the brand someone wants, but we usually have something similar that works. It’s a practical way to shop for your house without spending too much time. We try to keep the prices fair so people keep coming back. Being at 641039 makes us a central point for those living nearby. It’s just a normal shop run by normal people.
