Sri Shanmuga Store

We are located at 70/1 on Kunnathur Road. It’s a busy street, especially in the mornings when everyone is heading to work. The store isn't very big, but we try to keep the things people need daily. You’ll find us here behind the counter most of the day. We get our deliveries early, so the front can be a bit cluttered with boxes until we get everything put away on the shelves. It’s just how it goes in a small shop like this. We know most of the neighbors by name. They come in for bread, milk, or whatever else they forgot to buy at the bigger market. The floor gets a bit dusty because of the road outside, so we spend a lot of time sweeping. It’s a family thing, really. My brother helps out when I’m busy. We don't have any fancy signs or bright lights. Just the name over the door. Sometimes we run out of things faster than we expect, and then we have to wait for the next truck. People are usually patient about it. We’ve been on this road for a long time. The building is old, and the shelves creak a little, but it works for us. We don't try to do anything too complicated. We just open the shutters, sell what we have, and go home when the sun goes down. It’s steady work and keeps us busy. We mostly just talk about the weather with the regular customers who stop by.
