It’s a bit quieter out here compared to the main city center of Coimbatore, which we actually prefer. The air is a little clearer and there’s more space for us to move around. We work on various infrastructure tasks across the region. Most of our days start pretty early, often before the sun is fully up, so we can beat the heat. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a functional space with some desks and a lot of maps and site drawings pinned to the walls. We have a small crew that has been together for a long time. We know each other's habits and how we work, which makes things easier. When we are not out at a construction site, we are usually here in Vellakinar catching up on the accounts or talking to vendors. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. Sometimes the logistics of getting materials to the village can be a bit of a headache, but we’ve figured out the shortcuts over the years. We are just local people trying to build things that last. We don't spend money on fancy ads or polished speeches. We just focus on the task right in front of us and try to do it right the first time.
