Sri Ram Store

Sri Ram Store is located over at Rathinapuri, number 46. We are quite close to the railway gate in Thillai Nagar. You can always hear the trains passing by and the gates closing, which is just part of the background noise for us now. It’s a quiet enough neighborhood compared to the city center, mostly just families living around here. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and the shop is where we spend most of our waking hours. It’s a small place, nothing too special to look at from the outside. Inside, we keep the basic stuff that the local folks need so they don’t have to go all the way into town. Sometimes children come in after school to pick up snacks, and we have the older regulars who stop by to chat for a bit. We don’t really do any big advertising. People just know we are here by the railway gate. Dealing with the stock and keeping the place tidy takes up most of the day. The rain can be a bit of a problem sometimes, making the road outside muddy, but we just sweep it out and keep going. It’s a steady kind of life. We like being part of the Rathinapuri community. It feels good when you know the people you are serving. We just keep things simple and try to be here from morning until the evening. That is how we have always done things.
