Sri Akila Driving School

We are located at 38-C on Balasundaram Road in Coimbatore. It has been our spot for many years now. The school is just a small local place where we teach people how to handle a car without getting too stressed out. We have a few different cars we use. Some are a bit older and some are newer, but they all work fine for learning. Most people who come to us are quite nervous at the start. They worry about the gears or stalling the engine in the middle of a busy intersection. We just sit there with them and tell them it is okay. We spend a lot of time just driving around the local streets. The traffic in Coimbatore has gotten much heavier lately, so there is plenty to practice with. We don't have any fancy office or big marketing plans. We just have our desk and the car keys. Many of our students are youngsters from the nearby colleges or people who live right here in the neighborhood. We talk about the road rules and how to watch out for bikes and pedestrians. It is a lot of repeat work, but that is the job. We like it when someone finally gets their license and drives away with a smile. It is just a simple business run by people who know these roads well. We stay busy from early morning until the sun goes down.
