Sri Aakash Fabs

Our shop is located at No;26 in the Subbayadevar Layout, which is part of the Rathinapuri area. If you know the neighborhood, you know it can be a bit tricky to find us if you aren't looking for the number specifically. Sri Aakash Fabs has been around in this layout for a good while. It is a noisy place because of the fabrication work, so the neighbors probably aren't too happy about the sound of metal being cut all day. But that’s the nature of the business. We have some old machines that still work better than the new ones, though they do take up a lot of room. The floor is always covered in small bits of metal shavings no matter how much we sweep. It just feels like a real workshop that way. We don't spend much time on the computer or doing paperwork unless we absolutely have to. Most of our day is spent out on the floor, measuring things out and putting them together. The lighting in the back is a bit dim, so we usually do the detailed work near the front entrance where the sun comes in. It is a simple setup we have here, nothing like those big factories you see in the industrial parks. It’s just a small group of us making things happen day by day in Rathinapuri. We keep the scrap metal in the corner until it gets picked up, which keeps the main area clear enough to walk through.
