Vnd Brothers & Company

My brother and I have been here at Abirami Nagar for a long time now. The shop is at number 4/7. Most days start pretty early before the sun gets too high over Koundampalayam. We just open up the heavy metal shutters and get the day going. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to chat about the local news or the weather. Vnd Brothers & Company isn't a huge place, but it's where we spend almost all of our time. It gets a bit dusty on this street when the wind picks up, but we try to keep things tidy enough. We don't really have a fancy office or any of that polished stuff. It’s just us doing what we do. We’ve seen this area change quite a bit since we first set up here. People around the neighborhood know where to find us. Usually, one of us is around if you drop by in the afternoon. Sometimes we stay late if there's a lot of work to finish. It's just a regular local business. We keep the books manually most of the time. It works for us. The tea stall just a few doors down is where we usually grab our breaks. It’s a quiet corner of the neighborhood, for the most part. We try to keep things very simple. If the door is open, we're working. That's about it. Not much else to say. We show up and do the work. Koundampalayam has a lot of small shops like ours. It's a decent place to be based. We have our routine down and we stick to it.
