Sruthi Trading

You will find Sruthi Trading over at 81 Kaliappan Street in KK Puthur. We’re situated right in the Sai Baba Colony area, which is usually a pretty lively place to be. We’ve been at this same spot for several years now, just handling various trading tasks. The building is older and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it serves us well enough. We deal with a lot of different goods, so the inventory is always changing. My nephew helps out on the weekends when he isn't at his regular job. We don't have any big computer systems or fancy software. Most of our records are kept in big ledger books that take up a lot of room on the main desk. It gets quite hot in the afternoons because the sun hits the front of the shop directly. We just keep the fans going and try to stay cool. People from the colony walk by all day and sometimes they stop in just to say hello or ask about what we have in stock. We don't do any big advertising or put up glossy posters. It’s just a straightforward trading business. If we have what you need, we sell it to you at a fair price. The street is narrow, so we have to be careful when we are unloading new stock from the trucks. It’s a lot of manual labor, but we are used to it by now.
