Emson Plastics

Emson Plastics is based at Plot No.126 in Kannimar Nagar, which is just off Sathy Road in the Ganapathy area. It’s a pretty good spot because Sathy Road is a major route, but we’re tucked back enough that it’s not too crazy. We deal with all sorts of plastic products, mostly things people use in their daily lives. The workshop is always full of that specific smell of new plastic, which I’ve grown to actually like over the years. We have a small crew of about five people, and we all know each other’s families by now. My son usually comes by after his school to help with the simpler stuff like sweeping or moving light boxes. It’s a tight space when a fresh shipment comes in, so we have to be quick about moving things to the right shelves. I usually spend my mornings on the phone with suppliers and the afternoons helping out on the floor. The building itself is just a plain concrete structure, nothing special to look at, but it keeps the rain off the stock. We’ve had a few leaks in the roof during the monsoon season, but we’ve patched them up as best we can. People around Ganapathy know they can just drop by if they need something. We don't have a website or anything like that; word of mouth has always been enough for us. It’s a practical business, and we just try to keep things simple and honest every day.
