Sreesam Swastha Drink Private Limited

Out near Nehru Gardens, at SF No. 40/1, we’ve got our setup for Sreesam Swastha Drink. It’s a bit further out in Coimbatore South, so it’s not as crowded as the city center. We focus on drinks that are supposed to be good for you. Most of our day is spent around water tanks and bottling lines. It’s a wet job. The floors are almost always a bit slippery, so we have to wear those rubber boots all day long. It’s not the most comfortable thing, but you get used to it. We take the ingredients and mix them in big vats. There is a lot of stirring and watching temperatures. We don't have a team of scientists in white coats; it’s just us following the steps we’ve learned. Sometimes a batch doesn't look right, so we have to start over. It’s frustrating, but we don't like wasting things. The area around Nehru Gardens is pretty green, which is nice when we step outside for a breath of air. We have a lot of crates stacked up in the yard, waiting for the trucks. Sometimes the labels peel off if the glue isn't right, so we spend the afternoon sticking them back on by hand. It’s a lot of small tasks that add up to a long day. We just keep plugging away at it, making sure every bottle is filled to the right level.
