Sree Seetaram Stores

Sree Seetaram Stores has been at number 87 on Kumaran Road for as long as I can remember. The street has changed a lot over the years, but our little shop stays pretty much the same. We have a lot of shelves filled with all sorts of things, and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what a customer is looking for. It’s not a very big store, so things are tucked into every corner. We don't have any fancy displays or expensive lighting. Most of the time, the front door is just left open so the breeze can come in from the road. The neighbors are good people, and we all help each other out when someone needs a hand moving something heavy or keeping an eye on things. Kumaran Road can get pretty noisy during the day with all the bikes and trucks passing through, but we are used to it by now. We spend our mornings checking what needs to be ordered and our afternoons helping the folks who stop in. It’s just a basic store run by regular people. We don't have a website or anything like that because we prefer talking to people face-to-face. If you walk down the road, you can't miss us. It’s a honest way to make a living, and we enjoy seeing the same faces every day. My brother usually handles the money while I sort out the new stock that comes in every Tuesday.
