Sigma Driving School

Sigma Driving School is located at No 11/27 Sivaji Colony, right on Thadagam Road in Edayarpalayam. We’ve been teaching people how to drive around the streets of Coimbatore for quite a few years now. Our office is a small room where we keep the logs and the paperwork for the licenses. Most of the time, we are out on the road in one of our training cars. The cars aren’t the latest models, but they work fine and have the extra pedals on the passenger side so we can stop if something goes wrong. Coimbatore traffic can be quite a mess, especially during the peak hours on Thadagam Road, so we spend a lot of time teaching people how to stay calm when everyone is honking. Learning to handle a clutch for the first time is always the hardest part for new learners. We see a lot of nervous faces every morning. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of instructors who have a lot of patience. Sometimes we take a break at a local tea shop when a lesson ends early. The paperwork for the RTO takes up a lot of our time too, which is the boring part of the job. It feels good when someone finally gets their license after struggling with the reverse parking or the H-track. We just keep doing our thing day after day, helping neighbors get behind the wheel and feel a bit more confident. It takes time and practice for everyone.
