Shri Malar Driving School

This part of Tamilnadu has its own pace, though the main roads are getting busier these days. We don't have a massive office or a fleet of a hundred cars. It is just a local setup where we teach people from the nearby houses how to drive. You can usually find us out on the local roads during the day. We start early before the sun gets too high, though the heat is usually unavoidable. The students are mostly young people or sometimes older folks who finally decided it was time to learn. We talk about the basics, the clutch, the brakes, and how to watch out for cycles and pedestrians. Periyanaickenpalayam is a nice place to work because you get to know almost everyone who lives on the surrounding streets. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Most of our work comes from people telling their neighbors about us. It is a simple life and we enjoy the daily routine of being on the road. We keep the cars as clean as possible, though the Coimbatore dust is a constant battle. It is just us doing what we know how to do.
