Sdr Tradiational Foods

We are over here at No 439 in Sg Valasu, right in the Veerappanchathram area. It’s just a regular spot where we handle all our traditional food stuff. My family has been doing this for a long time, so the routine is pretty much set in stone. We wake up early to start the cooking and the prep work. The kitchen gets really hot by noon, but that’s just how it goes when you’re making these kinds of recipes. We don’t use any of those big industrial machines that the huge companies use because it changes the way the food tastes. Instead, we do a lot of it by hand, like grinding the spices and mixing the batters. It takes more time, but we don’t mind. The neighborhood is usually quite busy, and you can hear the traffic outside while we work. We don’t have a big fancy storefront or anything like that. It’s mostly just us in the back getting things ready for people to take home. Sometimes the bags don't look perfect, or a label might be slightly crooked, but the food inside is what we care about. We’ve been at this same address for years now and most people around here know us by sight. It’s a simple life, just making food that we’ve always eaten ourselves. We don't have any big corporate plans to expand everywhere, we just like keeping things the way they are here in our little corner.
