Our office is at number 221 in Chinnammal Nagar, right off Vadavalli Road here in Coimbatore. This is where we run Sathya Affordable Housing. It is a pretty straightforward operation. We focus on housing that doesn't cost a fortune, which means we spend a lot of time looking for ways to keep expenses down while still making sure the houses are good to live in. Edayarpalayam is a busy part of the city, and being on Vadavalli Road means there is always a lot of activity outside our windows. The office itself is quite plain. We have some desks, a few cupboards for our files, and a map of the local area on the wall. We aren't trying to impress anyone with expensive furniture. Most of the people who come to see us are just looking for a decent place to stay without spending too much. We talk to them about what they need and show them what is available. It is regular, daily work. We deal with the local council, the builders, and the people buying the homes. Coimbatore is a good place to be doing this because people are practical here. We don't use any fancy talk or try to sell something people don't need. It is just about getting roofs over people's heads in a way that makes sense for their budget. We have been in this spot for a while now.
