Santosh Overseas

We are located in the Bigbell Complex right on D.B Road. R.S Puram is a busy part of town, so there is always something happening outside our door. Being in the overseas trade business means we spend a lot of time on the computer or the phone. It’s mostly about coordinating things and making sure stuff gets where it needs to go. Sometimes there are delays, and that can be a headache, but we manage. Our office at 106-36 isn't huge, but it works for us. We’ve got our files and our tea, and that’s enough to get through the day. Dealing with international stuff means we have to stay late sometimes because of the time differences. It’s a bit of a juggle. We’ve been here in Coimbatore for quite some time now. People around the complex know us. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just trying to do a solid job. D.B Road is always packed with people, which makes the morning commute a bit of a chore. But once we’re inside and the fans are on, we get to work. Shipping and sourcing involves a lot of details that people don't usually see. We just take it one order at a time. It’s steady work and we like the rhythm of it. We deal with a lot of different suppliers and sometimes things get lost in translation, but we figure it out as we go. It is just part of the trade.
