Samy Oil Store

Samy Oil Store is located at 925 Uthukuli Road in Kavandampalayam. It’s a bit of a trek if you aren't from around here, but it’s a good spot for us to do our business. We handle all sorts of oils, and the warehouse area is usually where you’ll find most of us during the day. It’s a lot of manual work, shifting heavy barrels and making sure the deliveries are ready for the trucks that come by. We don’t have a fancy office with leather chairs; it’s more about wooden desks and a lot of paper ledgers. The road outside can get quite busy with transport vehicles, which is good for business but makes for a lot of dust in the air. We try to keep the place as clean as we can, but it’s a working oil store, so there’s always a bit of a mess somewhere on the floor. We have a few regulars who stop by to chat while they get their orders sorted out. We aren't really into big corporate talk or mission statements. We just show up, do the work, and make sure the customers get what they paid for. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. The days can be long, especially when we’re short-handed, but we get through it together. We’ve been at this location for a while now, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm.
