Sabari Industries

Sabari Industries is based at No 95A in the Savitri Garden area of Chinthamani Pudur. It’s a bit of a greener spot compared to the heavy industrial zones, but we still have a lot of work going on inside these walls. The building is a simple structure with a high roof to keep the air moving, though it still gets quite hot during the summer months. We spend a lot of our time on the floor, working with the tools and making sure the production stays on schedule. There’s a small yard out front where we park the vehicles and leave some of the heavier materials that don't mind the weather. Sulur is a good place for us because it’s out of the main city congestion but still close enough that we can get what we need. We don't have a professional cleaning crew, so we take turns tidying up the workspace and the small break area in the back. Our desks are usually covered in sketches and scrap paper because we’re always measuring something or figuring out a better way to fit the parts together. It’s a noisy environment when the machines are running, but we’ve grown used to the sound. We don't bother with fancy uniforms or big signs; we just let the quality of the things we make speak for itself. Most of the people who work here live nearby, so it feels like a very local, down-to-earth kind of operation.
