S D R Driving School is located in Coimbatore, right across from the Axis Bank ATM in Ramanathapuram. The address is No. 456A. Being near the ATM makes it pretty easy for people to find us, which is good because some of these streets can get confusing. We spend our days teaching people how to handle a car without getting too nervous. Coimbatore roads are better than some other cities, but they still have their moments, especially during peak hours. We aren’t a big fancy chain with a fleet of hundred cars. We just have our regular vehicles and we take people out one by one. It’s a lot of patience and repeating the same instructions about the clutch and the brakes. You see all kinds of people here, from teenagers who are excited to start driving to older folks who finally decided it was time to learn. The office is just a simple place to handle the permits and the scheduling. We don't have any slick sales pitches. We just sit in the passenger seat and hope the students don't grind the gears too much. It’s a local business and we like it that way. Most people hear about us from their friends or family who learned here before. We just try to be helpful and get people through their driving tests so they can get on with their lives. It is just basic teaching for anyone who wants to learn.
