Our work happens mostly around Plot Number 947 in Abhimanyu Nagar, over in the Chas area. It’s where Punyanand Lal Das has his place, and that’s basically our base of operations. Construction isn't really a clean or easy job, so our office usually has bits of sand and dust tracked in from whatever site we were just visiting. We deal with the usual stuff like getting cement delivered on time and making sure the guys on the ground know what the plan is for the day. Being in Chas means we are used to the local pace of things. Sometimes things go fast, and other times we are stuck waiting for a delivery that got held up somewhere. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world, just a group of people doing construction work in our corner of Jharkhand. Abhimanyu Nagar is a decent spot to be based out of. We spend a lot of time talking to local suppliers and trying to figure out how to work around the monsoon rains when they hit. You won’t find us using big fancy words to describe what we do. We just build things. Whether it’s a wall or a whole structure, the process is pretty much the same: hard work and getting your hands dirty. Most of our days start early before it gets too hot and end when we're too tired to look at another blueprint. It’s just us doing our thing.
