Ravi Juice World

If you walk down Pilliyar Kovil Street in Arpisampalayam, you’ll find Ravi Juice World at number 137. It’s just a small place, nothing too fancy, with a few wooden benches for people to sit on. We keep a variety of fruits on the counter, whatever is in season really. Most of our customers are locals who stop by for a quick drink while they are out running errands or coming back from work. It gets really busy in the summer months when the sun is harsh and everyone is thirsty. We use a couple of old blenders that make a lot of noise, but they get the job done. I usually run the place myself, sometimes with a little help from a nephew if it’s a festival day or the weekend. The floor can get a bit sticky from the fruit pulp and sugar, so I try to mop it whenever I get a quiet moment. We don't have a menu with fancy names; people just ask for what they want, like orange, pineapple, or sweet lime. I’ve lived in Arpisampalayam all my life, so I know almost everyone who walks through the door. We don't use much ice unless someone specifically asks for it. It’s a humble little spot, and it keeps me busy from morning until late at night. Sometimes we run out of certain fruits by evening, but that’s just how it goes when you’re a small shop.
