Our office is located at No. 1857 on Trichy Road in Ramanathapuram. If you know the area, you know how busy that road gets. There is always a steady stream of trucks and cars passing by outside our front door. Sri Balaji Civil Tech Pvt. Ltd. has been here for a bit, and we’ve gotten used to the vibration of the heavy vehicles. The office itself is quite functional. We have a few desks pushed together and a shelf full of technical manuals and old project files that have gathered some dust over the years. We spend most of the day looking at plans or talking to vendors on the phone. It’s the kind of environment where there is always a half-finished cup of tea sitting somewhere. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just a calendar and maybe a map of the local area. The lighting is a bit bright, but it helps when we are looking at small print late in the afternoon. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background to drown out some of the traffic noise. Everyone who works here has their own way of doing things, but we manage to stay on the same page. When the day ends, we lock up the shutters and join the crowd on Trichy Road to head home. It’s a straightforward life in a busy part of town.
