Raja Store

We've been here on Kovaipudur Mainroad for a while now. It's just a regular shop, nothing fancy. We open up early and stay open until quite late because people in the EB colony often need things last minute. Being right across from the colony means we see the same faces every day. We try to keep the basics in stock like rice, pulses, and soaps. It gets busy in the mornings when folks are headed to work. Sometimes the stock arrives late and the place looks a bit messy with boxes everywhere, but we get through it. My family helps out behind the counter. We know most people by name. It’s not a big corporate setup. It's just us doing our bit in Perur. Coimbatore is growing fast, but this corner feels the same mostly. We have the usual stuff people ask for. If something isn't on the shelf, we check the back room. Sometimes it's there, sometimes it isn't. We just tell it like it is. No fancy uniforms or anything. Just us in our regular clothes, dealing with the heat and the traffic on the main road. The dust from the road is a bit much sometimes, so we're always wiping things down. It is hard work but it keeps us busy. We don't have a big website or anything, just this physical spot where people come to buy their monthly groceries or just a single packet of biscuits.
