Patyam L P School

Patyam L P School is located at number 35 in Savithri Nagar. This is part of the Cheran Ma Nagar area in Coimbatore. It is a primary school, so we deal with the younger kids mostly. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, which is nice for a school. We have been at this location for a bit and the building is just a standard house-like structure converted for classes. There is a small yard where the kids play during their lunch break. You can hear them from down the street when they are outside. We have a small group of teachers who handle the different grades. Everything is pretty basic here. We use chalkboards and have rows of benches. Sometimes we have to deal with leaky roofs during the heavy Coimbatore rains, but we get it fixed when we can. Managing small children takes a lot of patience and our days are filled with a lot of noise and energy. Parents from Savithri Nagar often walk their kids to the gate in the morning. We spend a lot of time on paperwork and making sure the attendance is marked right. It is a local school for local people. We don't have any big fancy equipment, just the essentials for teaching. It keeps us busy from Monday to Friday, and then we spend Saturdays cleaning up and getting ready for the next week. It is a simple life here.
