Our place is located at 122 Saratoga Mill Road in the Sundarapuram area of Coimbatore. We are right opposite the Muthumariyamman Koil, which is a big temple that everyone around here knows. It’s a good landmark for us. The street is usually quite busy, especially when there are festivals at the temple. We’ve been here for a long time. The building itself is a bit old, but it stays cool inside. We have several rooms that we’ve turned into classrooms. There’s nothing high-tech about it. We use chalkboards and notebooks. We think that’s all you really need to learn anything. The students who come here are mostly from the local families. We know most of the parents because we’ve been in the community for so long. It’s a small operation, just a few of us running the classes and keeping the place clean. Sometimes the bells from the temple are quite loud, but we’ve all gotten used to it over the years. We open up in the morning to get things ready and usually stay until late in the evening. There isn't any big sign with flashing lights, just a simple board with our name on it. It’s a quiet life, focused on helping the kids with their schoolwork. We don't have any fancy mission statements. We just show up and do the work every day, six days a week, sometimes seven if there are exams coming up.
