We’ve been running the Kovai Correspondence College And Tutorial for a good while now. Our office is located at No 223 Chinnasamy Naidu Road in the Sidhapudur area of Coimbatore. It’s a fairly busy part of Tamil Nadu, so there’s always something happening outside our door. We aren’t a big, fancy institution with a huge campus. Instead, we have a simple set of rooms where we help people with their studies. A lot of our students are working adults who can’t go to a regular college, so they come to us for correspondence help. We handle all the forms and the books they need. Sometimes the office gets a bit crowded when everyone comes in at once to pay their fees or pick up their notes. I usually spend my mornings sorting through mail and answering the phone. It’s not a glamorous job, but it feels good when a student passes an exam they were worried about. We’ve got a few old desks and some bookshelves that have seen better days. It’s a practical space, though. We don’t bother with big advertisements or polished marketing stuff. People just find us by walking down Chinnasamy Naidu Road. We try to be helpful to whoever walks in. Sometimes we run out of tea in the afternoon, which is a bit of a disaster. But mostly, we just keep things moving along for the students here in Coimbatore. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way. We just do the work.
