Tnss Gandhi Vidhyalaya

If you go down Palladam Road in the Chinnakarai area, you will eventually find us. We are located right there in Tirupur. It is a very busy part of town with a lot of traffic and industrial units all around the neighborhood. Tnss Gandhi Vidhyalaya has been a part of this specific local community for a good while now. The building sits back from the main road just a little bit. Inside, it is mostly just normal classrooms and a small amount of space for the kids to move around during their breaks. We do not have anything too modern or high-tech in the rooms. It is mostly just old-fashioned desks, chairs, and large blackboards for the teachers to use. The staff members here are all local people from Tirupur. We all travel in from different parts of the city every morning. The day starts with everyone gathering around in the small courtyard. It can get quite dusty because of all the heavy vehicles moving on the main road outside. We try our best to keep the place tidy but it is a constant job for us. We see a lot of different kids from all sorts of local families. Most of the parents work in the nearby garment factories and textile mills. They often drop their children off quite early in the morning. We understand how hard those families work every day. Our day is spent teaching and looking after the students. There is always something small that needs fixing.
