Annai Tution Centre

Annai Tution Centre is located at 43 Vedapatti, right along the Thondamuthur Road. It’s a good location because it’s easy for people to find, even if they aren't from this specific part of town. I started this center because I wanted to provide a place for local students to study in a relaxed environment. The building itself is quite plain. We have a couple of rooms that we’ve filled with benches and whiteboards over the years. It’s not a corporate school or anything like that. It’s just a place where we sit down and work through the school syllabus. I remember when we first moved in, the rooms were totally empty and we had to carry all the furniture in ourselves. Now, it feels lived-in. There are maps on the walls and old notebooks everywhere. We don't try to be anything we aren't, really. The Thondamuthur Road is always busy with cars and bikes, so there is a bit of a background hum all the time. In the evenings, the area gets quite lively as people return from work. We mostly take classes in the late afternoon and early evening hours. Most of the kids who come here live within walking distance, so we know their families pretty well. We don’t have any fancy teaching tools. We just rely on the textbooks and lots of practice. It’s a very practical, local operation run by people who live here.
