Pallavi Model School

Pallavi Model School is up on the 2nd Floor of Rajanarayana Towers. We are located at 70 Race Course Road in Coimbatore, which is a fairly well-known part of the city. The 641018 area is quite busy with offices and other businesses. Being in a tower means we share the building with other people, so we have to be careful about the noise in the hallways. The 2nd floor has big windows that look out onto the trees lining Race Course Road. It is a nice view, especially when the weather is clear. The school itself is laid out in a way that uses the space well enough. We have partitioned rooms for the different classes and a small area near the lift where parents can wait. The floors are polished stone, so they stay cool even when it is hot outside. We have a lot of tube lights because the inner rooms don't get much natural sunlight. The staff uses the stairs mostly because the lift can be slow in the mornings. It’s a different kind of school place, being in a commercial building like this, but we make it work. We spend our days managing the schedules and making sure the students are in their seats when the clock strikes nine. There are always people coming and going from the tower, so it never really feels lonely here. It’s a busy building but we have our own little corner.
