Palaniappa Matric Higher Secondary School

Palaniappa Matric Higher Secondary School is located right on Sathy Road in Puliampatty. If you go down Katchery Street towards Mamarathottam, you will find us there. We have been part of this neighborhood for a good number of years. It is a matriculation school, so we follow that specific syllabus that most of the families in this part of town grew up with. The building itself is older, but it holds up well against the rain and wind. We have teachers who have been with us for a long time, and they know most of the families by name. It’s not a huge place where you get lost, but it’s big enough to have all the classes from the little ones up to the higher secondary levels. Every morning there is a bit of a rush on the street with parents dropping kids off on their scooters. We try to keep things organized so nobody gets stuck in traffic too long. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of lessons and the occasional bell ringing. We do what we can to make sure the kids have what they need, like decent chairs and enough chalk for the day. We don’t go for anything too flashy. Most days involve just getting through the chapters and making sure the homework is finished. It’s a practical kind of place. We just focus on the daily routine and keeping the school running for the local community here.
