Page Schools

Page Schools is sitting over at No 27/2 on Rajaji Road in Ram Nagar. If you know Gandhipuram in Coimbatore, you know it is a place where there is always something going on. Our spot is right in the middle of all that. The 641012 area code covers a lot of ground, but we are just in this one particular building. It is a bit noisy because of the traffic on Rajaji Road, but we’ve all gotten used to the sound of horns and buses going by. The entrance is a bit narrow, so you have to watch your step when you are coming in from the sidewalk. Inside, the walls are mostly white and we have some old charts hanging up that have been there for years. The desks are the heavy wooden kind that don't move easily. In the afternoons, the sun hits the front of the building pretty hard, so we have to pull the curtains shut to see the boards clearly. We have a small staff room where we keep the registers and some spare chalk. It’s not a very big place, but it serves the purpose for everyone coming in from around Coimbatore. We just try to keep the place tidy and make sure there is enough chalk for the day. It’s a simple routine we follow Monday through Saturday and it works fine for us and the families nearby.
