Oxford Public School

Our school sits on No. 15A, Thamarai Street, which is part of the Vembu Avenue area in Vadavalli. Coimbatore has changed a lot over the years, but this little corner feels pretty much the same. We opened Oxford Public School here because it’s a quiet residential spot and it seemed like a good place for a school. The walk down Thamarai Street is usually calm in the mornings before the bells ring. We have a modest building, nothing too flashy, just classrooms and a small area for the kids to move around. Most of the staff live nearby, so we all know the neighborhood well. It’s not always easy running a school; there’s always paperwork or a leaky tap that needs attention. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or big events. Instead, we focus on the daily lessons and making sure the children are actually getting their work done. The parents often stop by for a quick word at the gate. It’s that kind of place where everyone recognizes each other. Sometimes the rain makes the street a bit muddy, or the sun is just too much, but the school routine stays the same. We’ve been part of Vadavalli for a while now, and we’re just happy to be a steady part of the kids' lives here. It’s just a regular school run by people who care about this community.
