Old Taj School

Old Taj School is located at 70 Bharathi Park Road, right at the 7th Cross in Coimbatore. This part of the city is actually quite nice, with some trees along the road and a bit less of the heavy industrial feel you find elsewhere. The school itself is an older building, and it has that lived-in feel that comes with years of students passing through the halls. We have kids of various ages here, so the environment changes depending on which part of the building you are in. The classrooms are simple, with high ceilings and old wooden furniture that has seen better days. We don't use any flashy teaching gadgets; it’s mostly just the teacher, the students, and their notebooks. There is a small courtyard in the middle where the children gather for their lunch and some play time. It can get a bit loud and crowded in there, but it’s their time to burn off some energy. Most of the families who send their children here live in the nearby residential streets, so there’s a good connection with the local community. We see the same parents every day at the gate, and we’ve gotten to know many of them over the years. It’s not a fancy private academy with a huge budget. It’s just a local school where we try to provide a steady routine for the kids. We deal with the usual daily ups and downs, from missing pencils to organizing the annual school day.
