Oil Valley Girls' & Boys' School

This school is right across from the CTC Depot in Mettupalayam, Coimbatore. It’s a very easy place to find because the buses are always going in and out of the depot right there. We have both girls and boys here, and since it’s a fairly large school, the place is always humming with activity. The campus has a bit more room than the schools tucked away in the city center, which gives the students some space to breathe during their breaks. Mettupalayam is a busy town, and we get kids coming in from all the nearby areas, often using the very buses that stop at the depot across the road. The school building is an older style, built with thick walls that stay a bit cooler, though we still rely on fans most of the year. We don't have any of those modern glass buildings or high-tech labs. It’s just a solid, traditional school where the focus is on the daily lessons. Our teachers are practical people who have been teaching for years and know how to manage large classes. The playground gets a lot of use, and it’s usually pretty dusty by the end of the day. We have a lot of local families who have been sending their children here for generations. It’s a bit rough around the edges sometimes, but it’s a good, honest place for the kids in this part of Coimbatore. We just keep things running as best as we can every single day.
