The office is up on the second floor of Ramani’s Kalpatharu in Coimbatore South. You have to climb the stairs to 2A, and it gets a bit warm in the afternoons, but it’s a decent place to work. Most of us have been around here for years, so we know the neighborhood pretty well. The tea shop around the corner is where we usually end up when we need a break from the paperwork. It’s not a fancy setup, just some desks, chairs, and a lot of folders stacked up on the shelves. Sometimes the internet acts up, or the printer jams right when you’re in a hurry, but that’s just how it goes. Nivass Istructure is just a small group of people trying to keep things moving. We spend a lot of time on our phones talking to vendors or checking on how things are going at different sites. Coimbatore can be busy, especially with all the new construction happening everywhere, so there is always something to do. Usually, we wrap things up by six, unless there is a deadline that keeps us late. We don’t really do big meetings or anything like that. We just talk across the desks and figure out what needs to get done for the day. It’s practical work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes even Sundays if something pops up that can't wait.
