Nirmala High School

We are located right on Kondaiyampalayam Road in Coimbatore. Specifically at 7/72 Lakshmi Garden if you’re looking for the gate. It’s a school, so you can imagine the noise levels when the bell rings at three in the afternoon. We have been in Keeranatham for quite some time now. The building has some age to it, but it holds up. Teachers here spend a lot of time marking papers and complaining about the humidity in the staff room. It’s not a shiny corporate place. It feels like a regular school where kids run around and occasionally break a window with a ball. We focus on the daily lessons. Sometimes the fans make a clicking noise that drives everyone crazy, but we get used to it. The garden area is okay, though the grass gets dry in the summer months. People in the area know us by name mostly because their kids or grandkids went here. We deal with the usual school stuff like lost pens and messy notebooks. It’s just how things go. No one is putting on an act here. We just show up, teach the classes, and go home when the day is done. 641035 is our pincode, and we’ve seen the road outside change a lot over the years. It used to be much quieter, but that is progress, I suppose. We just keep doing our thing.
