New Reliance Academy English School

Our school, New Reliance Academy English School, is situated in Ramanathapuram. Coimbatore is a fast-growing city, but this little pocket of it feels familiar to those of us who have been here for years. The school is set back a little bit from the heaviest traffic, but you can still hear the hum of the city all day long. We have a building that is practical and serves its purpose for the neighborhood. There are classrooms for different ages, and we try to keep the windows open for fresh air, although the dust from the street can be a bit much sometimes. The teachers here are just regular people who have a lot of patience. We do not have a lot of fancy technology, so we mostly rely on books and the knowledge of the staff. Lunch breaks are usually spent in the small common area where students share their food and talk. It is a very grounded atmosphere. We do not use big words or make grand claims about ourselves. We just provide a place for education. Occasionally, the street outside gets flooded during a heavy downpour, and we all have to navigate the puddles to get inside the gate. It is part of the routine here. We focus on the day-to-day tasks, like grading papers and checking attendance. Parents often stop by the gate for a quick chat when they drop off their children. It is a community-focused place where things are kept simple.
