New Gandhi Convent H S School

New Gandhi Convent H S School is located at 15/16, Jawahar Nagar. We are right on Raja Annamalai Road in Saibaba Colony, Coimbatore. It’s a very active neighborhood, so there is always the sound of traffic and people going about their business. Our school is split across two main units here. The buildings are a bit older, with those high ceilings and heavy doors. We don't have any of those modern glass walls or anything. It's all brick and mortar. The classrooms are filled with long benches where the students sit. In the mornings, the whole place smells like the incense we light and the floor cleaner. We have a small staff of teachers who have been here a long time. They know all the shortcuts through the lessons. We don't have a big park or anything, just the space between the buildings for the kids to run around for a few minutes. The parents usually know the teachers personally, which makes things easier when there’s a problem to solve. We focus on the higher secondary levels mostly. It gets quite intense during the exam months, with everyone staying late to study. We don’t have a website that we update often. Most of our news gets passed along through the students or on the notice board by the main gate. It's just how we've always done things here in Saibaba Colony. We try to keep it simple and honest.
