New Era High School

You can find New Era High School over at 74A Anniappan Street in Nallampalayam. We’re in the Ganapathy area of Coimbatore, which is a pretty busy part of the city to be in. The school sits right on a local street, so we’re very much a part of the daily life and noise around here. It’s not a massive campus, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need into the space we have. There are classrooms for the different grades, and a small office where we handle all the day-to-day school business. The teachers are mostly local people who have been with us for a good number of years. We don’t have a lot of modern gadgets, but we have plenty of books and enough benches for the kids to sit on. Every morning starts with the usual routine of getting everyone into their seats and starting the lessons. We have a small yard where the students hang out during their recess, and it gets pretty loud with all the shouting and running around. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes, but we make it work. We spend a lot of time talking to parents about how their children are getting on with their studies. We don’t try to be anything we’re not, we just provide a place for kids to learn and grow up. By the time the afternoon sun hits the front of the building, we’re usually wrapping things up for the day.
