New Creation School

Our school is located at 34B in Sripathi Nagar. It’s a residential part of Ramanathapuram in Coimbatore, so we have houses all around us. New Creation School has been part of this street for years. You can hear the kids playing if you walk by around ten in the morning. It’s a modest building. We don't have a huge stadium or anything, just a courtyard where everyone gathers for assembly. The teachers are usually busy marking papers or talking to parents at the gate. We have a small office where we keep all the files. It gets a bit cramped when it's time for new admissions, but we manage. The hallways are decorated with things the students have made, which adds a bit of color. We use the local buses for transport, and some kids just walk from the nearby blocks. It’s a very local feel here. We don't try to be anything we aren't. Just a place for learning. The bells are loud enough for the whole neighborhood to hear. Some of the neighbors have been here as long as the school has. We see the same shops and people every day. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of the road work nearby, but that’s just life in Coimbatore. We keep the doors open and the fans on. That’s about it for our little corner of Sripathi Nagar. It’s been this way for a long time and we like it.
