New Adarsh Middle School

New Adarsh Middle School is situated right on the Mettupalayam Main Road in Karamadai. Since we are on a main road, it is easy for parents to find us, but the traffic can be a real pain during the morning and evening rush hours. This is a middle school, so we are working with kids who are in those in-between years. The building has a lot of history and has been standing here for quite a while. Inside, you’ll find the standard classrooms, a small area for the staff to work, and a little bit of open space where the students gather during their lunch hour. It isn't exactly a quiet spot because of all the buses and trucks passing by, but after a few days, you stop noticing the noise. Most of our teachers come from Karamadai or the small villages nearby. We don’t do anything particularly fancy here. It’s just about showing up, teaching the curriculum, and making sure the school runs properly. Some days we stay late to handle repairs or plan for the next week. It’s a very practical place. We don’t have a huge budget for renovations, so we just take care of the building as best as we can. Local people use the school as a bit of a landmark when giving directions. We focus on the daily tasks of running the place and helping the kids get through their middle school years.
