National Model Senior Secondary School

National Model Senior Secondary School has been part of the Peelamedu area for quite some time now. You can find us at 14-B in Periyar Nagar, tucked away in the Kalluri Nagar section. It’s a fairly large building with plenty of classrooms for all the different grades we have here. We deal with everything from the younger kids starting out to the older ones getting ready for their final exams. The hallways are usually full of noise during the breaks, which is expected. We have a playground area, though it's nothing too fancy, just a place for the students to get some fresh air. Being in Peelamedu means we get a lot of students from the surrounding streets. Most of the teachers have been with us for years and they know the families in the neighborhood. We aren't trying to be the most modern place in the world; we just focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure the kids are doing their work. Some of the desks are a bit old, and the fans can be a bit clicky on hot days, but it’s a solid place for learning. We don't spend a lot of time on flashy things. Most parents just want a school that is close to home and reliable, and that’s what we try to be. It's just a regular school day here, day in and day out, helping kids get their education.
