Narasaraopet Public School

We are located at No 1 in the Gandhi Layout, right off the Maruthamalai Main Road in Vadavalli. It’s a pretty good spot because it’s slightly away from the heaviest traffic. The school is a public school, and we have been here for a long time. The building is just a regular two-story structure. It’s not something you’d see in a magazine. We have classrooms for all the different levels. In the morning, the road outside gets a bit hectic with all the vans and parents on bikes. We try to manage the entrance the best we can. The teachers come in and get right to their work. We don't have any high-tech gadgets in the rooms. It's mostly just chalk and talk. The students bring their own lunch boxes and eat together in the classrooms. We have a small staff room where we keep our tea kettle and our bags. It’s a bit disorganized at times, but that’s just how it is when you’re busy with kids all day. The Coimbatore sun can be quite strong in the afternoon. We have big windows to let the air move around. Most of the people who live in the Gandhi Layout know us well. We’ve seen many generations of kids pass through these doors. It’s a practical place to work. We just focus on the daily lessons and making sure everyone is following the rules while they are here on the premises.
