Namma Veedu Constructions Privatelimited operates out of No 5C/6D in the Aishwarya Apartments on Vidyasurabhi Street. It is a quiet residential pocket in Ramnagar North, which makes for a decent place to handle our administrative work. Since our office is in an apartment building, it doesn't feel like those cold, corporate spaces you see downtown. We mostly use the space for meetings and keeping track of our project files. Most of our actual work happens out in the field where the dust and noise are. Back at the office, it’s usually just us with some tea, trying to make sure the schedules are on track. Ramnagar North is a familiar area to us, and we know most of the local suppliers nearby. Construction is a lot of back-and-forth, so being in a central spot helps a bit. Our desks are often covered in site photos and scraps of paper with measurements on them. We don't really do the whole polished presentation thing. We just tell people how the work is going and what needs to be done next. Building houses and structures involves a lot of small details that people don't always see. We spend our days making sure those details are handled. It’s a steady job and it keeps us busy from the early morning until late evening. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a while and just focus on getting through the daily list of tasks.
