Nalanda High School

We are Nalanda High School over in Peelamedu, right on the second level of the Vennila Building. It is a busy spot in Coimbatore, and usually, you can hear the traffic from the main road below while the kids are in their classes. Our space is pretty simple, with a few rooms and a small office area where the teachers sit when they aren't teaching. Most of the people around here know us because we’ve been at this address, number 723, for a while now. It’s not a huge place, but it gets the job done for the students who come here every morning. We start early, and by the afternoon, the hallway is full of noise as everyone heads home. The stairs can be a bit of a climb if you are carrying books, but we are used to it. Sometimes the fans are a bit loud, but they keep the rooms cool enough during the hotter months. We just focus on getting through the lessons and making sure everyone understands what they are supposed to learn. There isn’t much fancy stuff here, just desks, boards, and some charts on the walls that the students made. It feels like a second home to many of us who spend all day here. If you are looking for us, just look for the sign near the entrance of the building. We are usually busy with something or other, but that is just how it is in a school.
