Nagapriya English School

We've been here on Maruthamalai Main Road for a while now. If you're driving through Vadavalli, you probably know the spot, right near 93F. It's usually busy outside with cars and buses heading up the hill. Inside Nagapriya English School, things are a bit different. We mostly focus on getting the kids through their daily lessons. The classrooms aren't fancy, but they do the job. We have teachers who show up every morning, some coming from quite far away in Coimbatore. The school building has its quirks, like the way the light hits the front gate in the afternoon. People in the neighborhood stop by to ask about admissions or just to say hello. It gets noisy when the bell rings and everyone heads out at once. We don't have a huge playground, but the kids find space to run around during the breaks. Mostly, we just try to keep things organized. It’s a lot of paperwork and making sure the kids have their books. Sometimes the fans are a bit loud, but you get used to it. Living and working here in 641041 feels like being part of the local furniture. We see the same faces every day at the tea stall nearby. It’s just a normal school day for us most of the time. We aren't trying to change the world, just helping the neighborhood kids learn their English and get their homework done before they go home in the evening.
