N N T Public School

Our school is situated on the 1st Floor at 205 in Sidha Pudur, which is right in the Gandhipuram area of Coimbatore. Being on the first floor in such a busy part of the city is interesting. We don't have a big yard or a gate of our own since we share the building with other offices and shops. It’s a very central location though, so it’s easy for everyone to get here. The space inside has been partitioned into different classrooms. It’s a bit tight when everyone is moving around at the same time. We have to be organized with the schedule so things don't get too loud for the neighbors. The rooms have standard lights and fans, and we keep the windows shut sometimes to block out the street noise from Gandhipuram. It’s a very urban way to run a school. We use every corner for something, whether it’s storing books or keeping the water cooler. The staff has a small area near the entrance to handle parents and visitors. We don't have any big signs or flashy displays. It’s just a plain, functional school where the focus is on the daily lessons. Most of the children come from the nearby streets. We spend our days grading papers and talking to the kids in the hallways. It’s a simple, honest setup in the heart of a busy town.
