Murali Stores

You can find Murali Stores on Robertson Road in Coimbatore, not far from the Nehru Vidyalaya School. Being near a school means we see a lot of students coming in for pens or snacks during their breaks. It keeps the energy high around the shop. We've been at this location for a good while, and most of the residents in the 641001 area are familiar with us. It’s a basic setup with shelves lining the walls and a heavy wooden counter. We stock the standard grocery items, soaps, and some stationery. The mornings are quiet until the school bell rings, then it gets a bit chaotic for a while. We don't have a lot of help, so it's usually just one or two of us running back and forth. The rain in Coimbatore can be heavy, and sometimes the water leaks a little near the front door, so we have to keep some old rags handy. We don't bother with fancy displays or lighting. We just make sure the essentials are always available. It’s a steady life, watching the kids grow up over the years and seeing the same faces every day. We take a short break in the afternoon when the sun is at its peak. Then we get back to it until the street lights come on. It’s just how we run things here. The shop is a bit dusty sometimes, but it’s a real place for real people. We stay busy enough and that is plenty for us.
