Maudslay Machines

Maudslay Machines is located at No-812 & 89/4 in the Adhavan Industrial Estate. We are on Athipalayam Road in the Chinnnavedampatti area. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here if you’re coming from the center of town, but the industrial estate is a good place for a business like ours. There’s plenty of room for the trucks to come in and out. Our building is a large shed-style structure where we keep all the equipment. It’s usually pretty loud inside when the machines are running, so we all wear earplugs or just get used to the shouting. We have a small office tucked into one corner where we keep the records and handle the phone calls. It’s dusty and smells like oil and metal, which is how an engineering place should be, I think. We have a crew of about ten people. We’ve worked together for a while now, so we have our own way of doing things. We don't follow a strict corporate handbook. If something breaks, we fix it. If a customer has a question, we answer it as best as we can. We take our breaks together under the shade of the trees outside when it gets too hot in the building. It’s a simple, hardworking life here on Athipalayam Road. We just keep our heads down and try to produce good work every single day without any unnecessary fuss or drama or complicated schedules.
